INSTALLATIONS

Alexandre Cruz has been creating promos and music videos since the late 90s and working with video installations in exhibitions since 2007. Some notable installations include "Autista," "Contra o Verso," "Transfer," "Marker," "Perturbo," and "DDD VOLT4 P4R4 LOS 4NÕ$ 20." In these installations, he introduced the concept of speeding up and overlaying his own artwork, whether filmed, photographed, or animated, using old video software.

In 2016, an installation featuring more than 100 ladders, known as "Escada Errada," began appearing in exhibitions such as "Escape," "Álbum Sem Nome," and "Reuso." This installation represents a random sculptural process related to the choices the artist has made throughout his life. The concept of this installation also extends to his records, including "Not Count For Spit" (2016) and "The Days Go By Like Broken Stairs" (2019) by ACruz Sesper.
