Alexandre Cruz has been involved with fanzine culture since the late 1980s. "Crude Reality," "Noise e Flores," and "TV Zine" were some of the publications from 1990 to 1992, filled with ahead-of-their-time musical content.

From 1997 to 2000, he started "Introduct Fanzine", publishing his own artwork and the works of other friends, including photos, drawings, paintings, and music. From 2008 to 2010, he published several photo books and other digital art compilations.

So, in 2011, he created "Outprint" to re-release his own fanzines and his friends' artwork and music. He also established it as a cassette tape label, putting out more than 45 fanzines and 35 bands on limited edition cassette tapes.
